(KMZA)--With the monetary loss estimated in the thousands, the Nemaha County Sheriff's Department is actively investigating a case of burglary and theft occurring in recent days.
According to a news release from the Sheriff's Office, someone, between the mornings of Monday and Tuesday, forced their way into a residence, and garage.
While inside the location at 1374 184th Road in rural Seneca, they stole a .22 caliber rifle and a Polaris 4 wheeler.
The total cost of the loss is estimated at over $13,000, but both items were recovered by authorities on Thursday.
Investigators currently have no definite suspects, and if anyone has information related to the case, they're urged to contact the Nemaha County Sheriff.
