(KMZA )--The jury trial for a Wetmore man facing multiple charges has been postponed.
32-year-old Cassidy Grimm is now scheduled to go on trial beginning November 12th on five felony counts—including aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated battery, criminal threat and burglary. He’s also charged with misdemeanor theft.
The trial for Grimm had original been scheduled for this week in Nemaha County District Court.
Grimm was arrested last October by the Sabetha Police Department. He’s accused of breaking into the home of his ex-wife, holding her against her will, battering her, and threatening her and the children in the home.
Grimm eventually left the residence, giving the victim time to notify law enforcement.
He remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $100,000.
