A routine traffic stop for failing to give the proper turn signal has led to the arrest of an Effingham man on drug charges.
According to Atchison Police Lt. Tim Stout, 27-year-old Wesley Oswald was pulled over around midnight on Thursday in the 100 block of North 4th Street.

Oswald was transported the Atchison County jail, where he remains as of Friday morning, held on $2,500 bond.
Stout says Oswald was in possession of about 9 grams of marijuana.
