There will be a workshop on "Advice and Activites for Specialty Crop Producers and Home Gardeners" on Tuesday, August 27th at the HCC-Klinefelter Farm Educational and Experiment Center located 3 miles east of Hiawatha on 250th Road.
The engaging workshop will introduce participants to an essential resource that can complement anyone's interest in gardening, crafting or cooking. Local Experts will prvide tips about how they attract pollinators to support production. You'll sample recipes of delicious treats. Learn about the use of honey and beeswax to make candles and beauty treatments that naturally enhance your health and environment.
Register at the Community Foundation of North East Kansas located at 105th South 6th Street in Hiawatha. Registrations received after August 23rd will be $40. The program will be held from 11:00AM till 5:00PM.
