(KAIR)--An Atchison man faces charges of burglary and theft after police say he drove a pick-up through a garage door, took a work bench, then drove back to his residence.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson says Marvin L. Reese was arrested in connection with the incident, which took place around 1:30 Thursday morning in the 1100 block of South 7th.

Total damage to the garage door was estimated at around $300.
Reese remains in the Atchison County Jail, awaiting a bond appearance which is scheduled for Friday in Atchison County District Court.
