(KNZA)--No voices of oppositon were heard, with no members of the public present, when the USD 430 Board of Education Monday evening held a public hearing regarding the proposed budget for the next school year.
There's been no change in the numbers since last month when the leaders of the South Brown County Schools approved the budget for publication, and the board officially adopted the budget Monday night.
With all funds totaled, the budget for the fast approaching new school year stands at 11-million, 752-thousand, 398-dollars, and carries a mill levy of 59.667, slightly reduced from last year when the mill levy was approved at 59.893.
