(KAIR)--A 35-year-old Topeka man, driving on a suspended license and believed to be selling drugs, is now in custody in Jefferson County, following his early Monday morning arrest.
Sheriff Jeff Herrig says Valley Falls Police reported to the Sheriff's Office that Lasha Williams was driving illegally, and deputies located, and stopped him just South of Valley Falls on K-4 Highway.
Herrig says, after Williams was stopped, deputies discovered what's alleged to be methamphetamine, illegally obtained prescription narcotics and drug paraphernalia, along with products commonly used in the sell of drugs.
Williams was booked into the Jefferson County Jail, where he remains, on related charges.
