(MSC News)--Although the case developed outside the local area, authorities are seeking statewide assistance in locating a missing elderly Osage County man.
A Silver Alert has been issued for 67-year-old Raleigh Heskett of Lyndon.
He was last seen at 11:00 Sunday night at his home, wearing blue jeans and a black ball caps that says “Convoy.”
Heskett is 6 foot, weighs 200 pounds, has a grey beard and mustache with a panther and cobra tattoo on his left arm.
He was last spotted at a gas station in the Coffey County community of Lebo, driving a 2002 GMC full size brown van with a lighter brown swirl design. His Kansas license plate is 417DCF.
Prior to his disappearance, Heskett had suffered a severe laceration to his right forearm, but did not seek medical treatment, and is believed to have incurred severe blood loss.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Raleigh Hesket are asked to notify Osage County authorities at 785-828-3121.
