(KNZA)--A resurfacing project will begin Tuesday on a 10-mile stretch of K-20 Highway in Brown County from the junction with U.S. 75 to the west city limits of Horton.
Beginning on Tuesday, eastbound and westbound K-20 will be reduced to one lane as crews begin work at the U.S. 75 junction and move east.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via a pilot car and flagger operation. Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes maximum and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
Work will take place during daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with some occasional Saturday work. The work will be coordinated so that all lanes will be opened to traffic 30 minutes before sunset.
Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc. of Topeka is the primary contractor on the more than $927,000 project. The project is scheduled for completion in early September, weather pemitting.

Are they going to fix it so the road stops trying to swerve drivers into the ditch or oncoming traffic?
