( KNZA )--Donations are being sought for a Hoyt area family who lost their home and all their belongings in a fire on the 4th of July..
Angela and Jessie Lake and their eight children were not home when fire destroyed their home on 126th Road.
The children range in age from 5 years old to 18 years old. They are in need of clothing, toiletries and toys or games for the younger kids. Gift cards for underwear and other personal items would be appreciated. They also need money – in the form of gift cards or monetary donations.
Below is a list of ages, names and sizes that are needed:
Sarah – 5 years old – size 5 girl
Stormy – 6 years old – size 6 girl
Dillon – 9 years old – size 8 boy – size 6 shoes
Alex – 11 years old – size 8 boy – size 3 shoes (men)
Autumn – 14 years old – size 5 women junior – size 8 women shoes
Britney – 15 years old – size 1 women junior – size 7 women shoes
Jessica – 17 years old – size 3-5 women junior – size 7 women shoes
Ashley – 18 years old – size 3-5 women junior – size 8 women shoes
Parents:
Angie – Size 10 women, XL for women shirts – size 6 &1/2 women shoes
Jessie – XL Men, 38 waist
A fund for the family has been set up at all Denison State Bank locations — in Hoyt, Holton, Meriden or Topeka. Donations of clothing are being collected at Calderwood’s Grocery in Hoyt or can be taken to 415 Wyoming Avenue in Holton.
