(KLZA) The Mound City School Board was able to conduct their June meeting in about 30 minutes on Wednesday evening.
A 2012-13 budget amendment was approved and the preliminary 2013-14 budget was approved during the meeting. Superintendent Ken Eaton explains the actions approved. ( play audio :39 seconds )

A change in policy concerning personal days for the Mound City School staff that could result in a little cash in the pockets of the staff was also approved Wednesday evening. ( play audio :41 seconds )
During the Superintendents report Eaton reported that a decision to purchase a van for the school district appears to have been a good choice. ( play audio :34 seconds )
