Severe Weather Forecast Through End of Week
(KTNC) - Clean up continues in many areas after severe weather over Memorial Day weekend and there is more to come. Jim Meyer is the chief meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Valley. He says May and June are the most active months for severe weather and the pattern we are in right now is promising just that. (play audio :32 “we’re in right now.”)
Meyer says the severe weather is expected to continue for the next few days. He says some storms could be severe, with hail, strong winds and the threat of tornados as the week progresses, so you should keep a close eye on weather forecasts and be ready to take cover if necessary. (play audio :29 “at that time.”)
Meyer says there is a threat of severe weather in some areas every day through Friday.
