( KMZA )-Two Marshall County bridges will soon bear the names of two Marysville area soldiers killed in Vietnam.
A ceremony is set Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the Marysville City Building for the unveiling of new signs naming a bridge on U.S. 77 south of Marysville the Specialist 4 Michael T. Martin Memorial Bridge, and a bridge west of Marysville on U.S. 36 the Sgt. Joseph Zutterman Jr. Memorial Bridge.
Zutterman, a member of the U.S. Marine Corp, died April 20th, 1968 at the age of 23 when the helicopter he was in crashed in South Vietnam.

Representative Sharon Schwartz, of Washington, introduced a bill naming the bridges for the two fallen soldiers during the 2012 legislative session. The bill was approved by the legislature and signed into law by Governor Sam Brownback on May 17th of last year.
