Robert Whitfield
( KNZA )-A July 30th jury trial has been set for a Hiawatha man facing a child sex charge.
43-year-old Robert Whitfield pleaded “ not guilty” Monday in Brown County District Court to a charge of aggravated criminal sodomy involving a child born in 2003.
Whitfield was arrested last November following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
He remains in the Brown County Jail on $200,000 bond.
