( KNZA )-There’s a new face on the Hiawatha City Commission.
Toni Hull took her seat on the commission Monday evening after being sworn into office by City Clerk Vivian Constable as Commissioner of Utilities.
Hull was elected during the April general election to replace John Sheeran, who didn’t seek re-election after serving on the commission since May 2007.
Also sworn into office was Irv Schwalm, elected last month as Commissioner of Streets and Parks. Schwalm was appointed to the position last August to fill the unexpired term of Vicki Denton.
