( KMZA )---A resurfacing project will begin Monday on 3 ½ mile portion of K-233 in Marshall County, weather permitting.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the project will take place from the junction with U.S. 77 to the city limits of Oketo.
Beginning Monday, traffic will be reduced to one lane on K-233.
Traffic will be directed through the project work zone via a pilot car operation.
Drivers should expect delays of up to 15 minutes maximum and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
Halls Brothers Inc. of Marysville is the primary contractor on the $468,000 project, which is scheduled for completion in early June, weather permitting.
