Advance Voting Underway in Nemaha County
( KMZA )- Nemaha County registered voters may now vote an advance ballot for the April 2nd City/School general election either by mail or in person at the county clerk's office.
To vote by mail, a person must complete an application form and return it to the County Clerk’s Office before a ballot can be mailed to them. All application forms must be received by March 29th. Voters may come to the County Clerk’s Office to vote in person up until 12:00 noon on Monday, April 1st. The County Clerk’s Office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All Nemaha County registered voters who will not be able to get to their polling place on Election Day, April 2nd, are encouraged to use the advance voting option in order to cast their vote in this election.
Due to a new election law, every voter in Nemaha County is required to provide identification before voting. If a voter requests a ballot to be mailed to them, they must include their driver’s license number on the application or include a copy of their photo ID with the completed application.
