K-99 to be Closed in Wamego
( KMZA )--All lanes of K-99 in Wamego in Pottawatomie County will be CLOSED for a Union Pacific railroad crossing replacement project beginning at 6:00 o’clock on Thursday morning ( December 20th ).
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the highway will reopen to traffic at 6 o’clock Friday evening, weather permitting.
A marked detour will be provided. Traffic will detour via US-24 to K-177 to I-70 to K-99.
Drivers should expect some delays and must use alternate routes during the roadway closure.
