(KTNC) - Southeast Nebraska Community Action is seeking Salvation Army bell ringers in Auburn for the holiday season.
This year, the red kettles will be located at Sun Mart and Casey’s in Auburn. Dates include every Saturday between Thanksgiving and Christmas Day – which would be November 24, and December 1, 8, 15, and 22 – plus any other date that activities are being held in the community where the kettles can be requested.
Bell ringers are needed in two-hour increments, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on designated Saturdays.
Ninety percent of the donations received will stay in Auburn and Nemaha County to help families who may experience unexpected emergencies, such as a fire, or other event that renders them homeless.
Individuals or organizations interested in ringing bells should contact Sasha Rightsell at the SENCA Outreach office in Auburn at 402-274-4666.
