Auburn Council to Discuss Law Enforcement Monday Night

(KLZA) The Auburn City Council will meet Monday at 7 p-m. 

Discussion on law enforcement options of replacing the city police chief or county wide coverage will be held during the meeting.

Later in the agenda Auburn Police Department personnel and evaluation of the job performance will be discussed.  This agenda item may be discussed in executive session  as it is in regards to allegations of criminal misconduct.

During the meeting Council members will receive the audit report from Massman, Nelson and Reinig.  A letter received from an attorney in regards to the Auburn Airport Authority and possible Council action will be discussed.

A letter concerning a house burning signed by Auburn residents addressed to the Council will be reviewed.  The letter concerns a property at 1213, 9th Street in Auburn.

A resolution identifying nuisance and complaint for nuisance abatement of property at 715 11th Street will also be discussed. 

A resolution on the Auburn Chamber of Commerce funding agreement will be discussed as will a renewal agreement between the City and the Nebraska Department of Roads for maintenance. 
2013 holidays for city employees will be discussed during the meeting as well
