(KTNC) - A series of landlord-tenant cash lease workshops will be held in Nebraska in the months of November and December. University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension educator Allan Vyhnalek (Ve-nail-ek) says the program will address the unique challenges producers and landlords faced this past year. (play audio :16 “pastureland.”)
One of the topics that Vyhnalek says will be covered is dealing with greed. (play audio :16 “whole point.”)
Another topic to be covered is flexible cash leases. Vyhnalek says this is an opportunity for producers and landlords to learn to work together. (play audio :27 “correct information.”)
The workshops are free, but you do need to register in advance.
Locally, workshops will be held November 27th, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Ag Building in Humboldt, and from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Nemaha County 4-H Building in Auburn.
Workshops will also be held November 13th in Fairbury, and November 29th at the Kimmel Center in Nebraska City. For a complete list of workshop dates and times, go online to cropwatch.unl.edu.
