(KNZA)--The Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging 2012 Expo will be held Tuesday in Hiawatha.
There is no admission charge for event, which will be held from 9 to 2 at the Fisher Center located at 201 East Iowa Street..
Bev Sunderman, public information officer with the Area Agency on Aging, says the event provides an opportunity for an educational, interesting and fun day for all ages, and the public is invited(Play Audio)
Free neck, back and foot massages will be offered by trained health care personnel, and for those who have nothing to eat or drink 12 hours prior, cholesterol screenings will be available.
Sunderman says new this year, the Kansas Commission on Veteran’s Affairs will have their mobile van on hand(Play Audio)
This year’s featured speakers will talk about alzheimer’s and the art of building successful relationships.
The Holton VFW Post will conduct bingo from 12:30-1:30 in the Fisher Center Loft, with prizes for winners.
The Northeast Kansas Area Agency on Aging serves seven counties---Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Nemaha, Marshall and Washington.
