Highland College to Hold Family Day
( KNZA )--Family Day activities at Highland Community College will be held throughout Northeast Kansas on Saturday ( September 22 ).
The Day’s activities will start with the annual Wild Dog Motorcycle Ride at 8:30 that morning. The Wild Dog ride will conclude with a pass around Kessinger Field on the HCC campus prior to the Family Day football game when the Scotties play host to nationally ranked Butler for a 1 o’clock kickoff.
The Family Day activities will then move to the Klinefelter Farm, located off the Mulberry Road exit on Highway 36 east of Hiawatha. The activities will start at 2 o’clock when the Klinefelter Barn will be open for public viewing.
Following the football game, the popular local band True North will play at the Farm from a location to the east of the Barn from 5:30 to 8:00, and grilled hot dogs and refreshments will be available after 5:00.
