(KNZA)--Two 14-year-old boys are in custody, and prescription medication seized, following a Holton based investigation this week.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the boys were arrested Tuesday following an investigation into the distribution of controlled substances and other prescribed medications.
Both were taken into custody for possession of amphetamines and distribution of amphetamines.
Then, Tuesday night, the Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of Holton Police, served a search warrant at 704 West 4th Street.
Authorities allege a quantity of prescription medications were seized from the Holton residence.
No additional arrests, following the raid, have been reported.
