(KNZA)--A Jefferson County Deputy responds to a rural Ozawkie residence following the report of a disturbance; and, when he arrives finds a man, with a felony warrant, at the home.
It happened shortly before 8:00 Wednesday night, at 8941 Ferguson Road, where fugitive John Bowen was staying.
The Deputy attempted to apprehend Bowen, which lead to a struggle, leading the Deputy to use his taser to subdue the 32-year-old suspect.
Back-up officers arrived on the scene and Bowen was taken into custody without further incident.
Booked into the Jefferson County Jail, Bowen is held on 200-thousand-dollars bond for the warrant, which apparently arises from a past case involving drugs and assault on a law enforcement officer, among other crimes.
Other charges, arising from his latest arrest, are pending.
