(KNZA)--An investigation is underway, following a suspicious accident involving an unoccupied vehicle owned by Brown County Attorney Kevin Hill.
According to Hiawatha Police, Hill's 2010 Toyota Prius was parked in the 600 block of Oregon Street, around 5:35, last Wednesday afternoon.
For some reason, the vehicle rolled out of its parked position, and went west where it smashed into a planter located outside the main entrance to Hiawatha City Hall.
The impact caused significant damage to Hill's vehicle, but minimal damage to the city property.
Police are attempting to find out exactly what caused the vehicle to roll and whether or not foul play was involved.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw someone tampering with the Prius, is urged to contact the Hiawatha Police Department.
