(KLZA) A year after his hiring, Nebraska baseball coach Darin Erstad has a contract.

Erstad has a four-year deal through the 2016 season paying him $163,200 annually.

Based on his current salary, the contract calls for him to receive a bonus of $13,600 for winning a Big Ten title or earning an NCAA tournament bid, $20,400 for achieving both, $27,200 for making the College World Series and $40,800 for winning a national championship.

The contract was signed June 3rd and released Thursday.

The Cornhuskers were 35-23 overall and finished fourth in the Big Ten in Erstad's first season.

Erstad, a two-time All-Star who earned about $50 million in 14 major-league seasons, had an initial salary of $160,000 at Nebraska. Former coach Mike Anderson was paid $330,000 in 2010, his last season.
