Shopteese Named to State Role

(KNZA)--A new role for a local woman, named to serve in a state role. 

Carol Shopteese, the director of social services for the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas, has been appointed to the Kansas Supreme Court task force on permanency planning. 

Confirmed by the court justices, Shopteese will now serve in the position, which provides recommendations for initiatives and improvements in the Kansas Child Welfare System.
