( KNZA )--A well traveled Brown County road has reopened to traffic.
County officials announced today ( Wednesday ) that Kestrel Road is now open between 260th and 280th Roads.
The road was closed last month for a safety improvement project south of Padonia.
Brown County was awarded a grant through the Kansas Department Transportation to fund the project.
