(KLZA) The Falls City Police Department is asking the public for help in finding a person who pointed a gun at a Falls City man early this morning in his home and demanded medication.
Falls City Police Sergeant Jameson Baker and Officer Pat Stamper were called to 202 East 8th Street about 1:45 a-m ( this / Tuesday ) morning. 63 year old Robert C. Blain who lives at the address with his son reported he got up to see what his dog was barking at. When Blain walked into his kitchen he noticed his front door was open. At that time, a man stepped out and pointed a gun at his head and demanded medication.
Blain said the man backed out of the house with the gun when no medication was obtained. Blain gave the Police a description but said he was wearing a bandana over his face. Blain reported that a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun was missing from the home. The pistol is owned by Blain’s son Eric Blain, who is currently working out of town.
In searching the area officers found two people who said they saw a man running east but the police were unable to find anyone.
Police Chief John Caverzagie is asking anyone who may have seen anything to contact the Falls City Police Department. In addition, if you see anything suspicious, contact the Falls City Police Department at 402-245-4422.
