Standerford, Tiltges win 2012 Ag Youth Awards

KTNC Radio presented two senior Richardson County 4-H members with 2012 Brownfield Ag Youth Awards during the Junior Fair Awards Program Sunday afternoon.
 The award, sponsored by the Brownfield Network, recognizes youth for their achievements in 4-H programs. 
 The 2012 award winners were T.J. Standerford of Humboldt and Stephen Tiltges of Rulo.  T.J. is the son of Joe and Kim Standerford.  He has been involved with 4-H for 13 years, and was involved with showing dairy and beef cattle, and garden flowers. 
 Stephen is the son of Ken and Mary Grace Tiltges and has been involved with 4-H since he was seven years old as a member of the Town and Country 4-H Club.  He’s been involved in several club and community projects over the years, with projects in sheep, poultry, plant science and foods.
 This is the third year KTNC has presented the award at the Richardson County Fair.
 Other awards presented during Sunday’s program included the Outstanding 4-H Member awarded to Chris Yoesel of Falls City.  Joe Standerford was recognized as the Outstanding 4-H Alumnus. Jackie Way was named the 4-H Volunteer of the Year.  And Stalder Cattle Company was named the 4-H Booster of they Year.
 The awards program and fashion show culminated the 2012 Richardson County 4-H and FFA Junior Fair.
