( KNZA )--A single-vehicle accident on U.S. 36 highway in Doniphan County this ( Friday ) morning sent three Troy residents to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 55-year-old Susan Losson was traveling west when a deer ran across the highway striking the driver’s side window of her Ford Escape, causing the glass to break.
Losson and two passengers, 21-year-old Stephanie Davies and 2-year-old Conner Davies, were transported to the Atchison Hospital
The Patrol says all three were wearing seatbelts.
The accident was reported around 8:10 this ( Friday ) morning about 5-tenths of a mile west of Mosquito Creek Road.
