( KNZA )--A jury trial will be set for a former Troy man charged with criminal solicitation to commit murder.
49-year-old Franklin “ Kevin” Hubbard of Griffen, Georgia pleaded not guilty last week in Doniphan County District Court to the charge along with four counts of felony criminal threat and one count of felony criminal stalking.
A pre-trial conference is set for September 12th, during which time a jury trial is expected to be set.
Hubbard is accused of soliciting to kill Rhonda Boyle of Troy.
He was originally charged with 22 counts involving criminal threats against seven individuals. However, 16 counts were dismissed following his preliminary hearing last month.
