In Legion Baseball action Sunday, the Falls City juniors saw their season end with a 13-6 loss to Hickman in the consolation round of the B1 Regional Tournament at Fairbury.
Falls City led 6-5 after 5-and-a-half innings, but Hickman erupted for eight runs in the bottom of the 6th inning for the win.
Falls City had 10 hits in the game. Reese Hogue had two hits, including a home run. Chase Thompson and Tyler DiGiacomo each drove in two runs in the game.
Falls City, the 4th seed in the tournament lost in the first round Friday, 1-0, to Fairbury, then beat Syracuse 10-5 in a losers bracket game on Saturday before falling to Hickman Sunday.
In other tournament games Sunday, Beatrice eliminated Auburn, 8-3, and Crete shutout Fairbury 10-0 in five innings.
The tournament is scheduled to wrap up Tuesday.
