Three Injured In Marshall County Accident

( KMZA )--A two-vehicle accident in Marshall County Saturday morning sent three people to the hospital.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the accident occurred at the intersection of K-99 and Bobcat Road about 6 miles south of Frankfort around 9 a.m.

The Patrol says 20-year-old Gentry Botkin of Blue Rapids was traveling west on Bobcat Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign and her car was struck in the passenger side by southbound pickup on K-99 driven by 57-year-old William Roche of Frankfort.

Botkin, Roche and a passenger in the Botkin vehicle, 20-year-old Mallory Schmidt of Topeka, were transported to the Onaga Community Hospital.

Another passenger in the Botkin vehicle, 20-year-old Jessica Hutson of Vermillion, refused treatment at the scene.

The Patrol says all the occupants were wearing seat belts.
