Sabetha Edges Falls City in Legion Baseball

 Sabetha scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge Falls City 4-3 in Legion Baseball action in Sabetha Tuesday evening.
 Falls City had tied the game at 3-all with a run in the top of the inning, but Sabetha scored the winning run in the bottom half of the inning without the benefit of a hit.  Tate Steinlage reached base on a fielders’ choice, advanced to second on an error, went to third on a passed ball, and then stole home.
 Brenden Garrett was the winning pitcher, in relief of starter Tate Steinlage.  Garrett entered the game in the 6th inning and retired all four batters he faced.  Logan Faller pitched all six innings for Falls City.
 The Falls City seniors are at Hiawatha Thursday evening.
