Funeral services have been set for rural Everest man killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident in Atchison County.
Services for 55-year-old Robin Smith will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton.
The Atchison County Sheriff’s Department says Smith was traveling on Sedgwick Road, north of Atchison, Tuesday night when he lost control of his vehicle, which rolled into a ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle.
Smith graduated from Atchison High School in 1974 and then attended Vo-Tech.
He most recently worked in the surveillance department at the Golden Eagle Casino near Horton.
Smith is survived by his parents, a son and a step-son.
