Third through 5th graders at Atchison Child Care are showing some initiative in an effort to raise money for a new computer at the center's computer lab.
The center's director, Carrie Sowers, says students will be accepting free will donations for lemonade and baked goods, which will be available in front of the center on Friday...

Sowers says the fundraiser will start around 11:30 and end around 5:30 in front of the child care center at 1326 Kansas Avenue.
The goal is to raise $1,300 for the new computer.
Atchison Child Care is a non-profit child care and educational center, with pre-schoool, and before and after-school programs. They serve around 170 children, and have full-time daycare and child care during the summer.
