A Country School Reunion will be held at the Pawnee City Historical Museum on Saturday, June 9th.
It will be an opportunity to visit and reminisce with others who started their school years in a one-room country school and then likely moved on to be one of the “country kids” when you went to high school.
Registration will begin at 11 a-m followed by a potluck dinner at noon. The museum will furnish beverages and tableware.
A brief program will follow the meal attendees will have an opportunity to talk with former schoolmates, share photos and memories.
The reunion is open to anyone who attended a country school, taught children in that setting, or is just interested in rural schools. There is no admission charged.
