A Hiawatha resident is arrested on a felony warrant from the Kansas Department of Corrections.
Hiawatha Police say 26-year-old Robert Camacho Jr. was taken into custody Friday.
The arrest came after an officer identified Camacho as having the felony warrant.
Camacho fled on foot from the Hiawatha Skate Park and headed north when the officer attempted to arrest him.
Camacho was later taken into custody after he was found hiding in a garage in the 100 block of Apache Street.
He was also charged with felony obstruction and booked into the Brown County Jail.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
