A portion of K-116 Highway in Atchison County will be closed to traffic Thursday and Friday for culvert repair work.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the highway will be closed between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday from the U-S 59 junction to the U.S. 159 junction.
There will be no marked detour. However, a flagger will be on hand to direct motorists to a short detour around the culvert repair project.
Drivers should expect delays and must use alternate routes during the road closure.
The project is scheduled to be completed on Friday ( June 1st ), weather permitting.
