State Senator Dennis Pyle has filed for re-election to another 4-year term.
The rural Hiawatha Republican was first elected to the Kansas Senate in 2004, representing the 1st senate district. The district includes Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson and Pottawatomie Counties.
In a press release, Pyle said he always done what he thought best for the conservative cause.
Pyle further said he intends on running an aggressive campaign based on the issues he’s believes in, positive vision for Kansas’ future and, most importantly, his record in the legislature.
Pyle is a fourth generation farmer. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for 32 years and have six daughters.
Pyle is the first candidate to file for the senate seat.
Candidates have until noon, June 11th to file.
