Details are released, regarding the reason why an Oneida man was arrested last week on charges involving Cruelty to Animals.
We told you earlier that 51-year-old Darrell Grove was arrested Thursday on the charge, taken into custody by the Nemaha County Sheriff's Department.
Sheriff Rich Vernon now says that happened following a report that a dog had been intentionally run over in the 800 block of 5th Street in Oneida.
Following an investigation, including interviews with witnesses, Grove was named as the alleged driver, and arrested.
He was released from jail two days later after posting bond of 10-thousand-dollars.
