A 2.3-million-dollar renovation is underway in Seneca, as the longstanding Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church undergoes a major makeover(Play Audio)
That's the Rev. Arul Carasala, through whose oversight, the renovation effort was made possible(Play Audio)
Currently, phase one of the overhaul is underway(Play Audio)
Carasala says that process, which began last week, will take time, based on the methods that must be used(Play Audio)
Once phase one is complete, phase two will begin, which includes the addition of restrooms and handicapped accessibility(Play Audio)
Carasala says in order to make those additions possible, extra space is also needed(Play Audio)
Along with those enhancements, focus, during phase two, will also turn to a general makeover inside the church(Play Audio)
The entire overhaul project of Saints Peter and Paul Church has been named “My House of Prayer.”
