Ron Marshall will no longer serve as CEO of the Holton Community Hospital.
Holton Community Hospital Board of Directors chairwoman Cathleen Reed announced today ( Friday ) that Marshall has been separated from his employment at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka. Reed said due to the terms of the hospital management agreement with St. Francis, Marshall will no longer be able to serve as CEO at the Holton hospital.
Marshall became CEO at the Holton hospital in 2007 under terms of the management agreement. His medical career spans nearly 40 years.
Reed said Marshall guided the Holton hospital through difficult times. She said with his outstanding leadership the hospital has been successful in achieving financial stability, organizational growth, and being able to make much needed equipment upgrades. Reed said Marshall will be greatly missed by the entire Holton hospital family, from board members to staff.
St. Francis has retained current Chief Nursing Officer Carrie Saia as interim CEO at the Holton hospital.
