Nebraska's Jordan Hooper became the first sophomore in Husker women's basketball history to earn All-America honors, when the Associated Press announced its teams on Tuesday.
Hooper, a 6-2 forward from Alliance, Neb., ranked fourth in the Big Ten in scoring (18.9 ppg) and led the conference in rebounding (9.3 rpg) in her second season with the Huskers. She became the first sophomore in Nebraska history to reach the 1,000-point mark, finishing 2011-12 ranked No. 22 on NU's all-time list with 1,078 points.
