A wanted felon is now behind bars, following his apprehension by Brown County Authorities.
It happened shortly after midnight Wednesday when the Sheriff's department was notified that 22-year-old Kaleb Lee Harrison-Barr had been located in the community of Morrill.
The Topeka man was wanted on numerous warrants, including probation violation and failure to appear in Jackson County; and felony warrants of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and sexual battery in Nemaha County.
Brown County authorities responded to Morrill in search of Harrison-Barr; and, upon locating him, he gave flight, trying to flee from the deputies on foot.
However, following a short foot chase, he was apprehended by a Brown County Sheriff's Reserve officer and taken to the Brown County Jail.
Stemming from the attempt to run, Harrison-Barr now faces a Brown County charge of felony obstruction.
