The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday. During the meeting Commissioners reviewed the Nebraska Public Employees union contract and voted to approve the contract effective January 1, 2012 through December 31st, 2014.
In other business the Board gave favorable comment to a request for a special designated liquor license for the Elk Creek Fire Department.
Sheriff Jayme Reed met with the Board regarding the Southeast Area Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Assessor Jonathan Bailey also met with the Board regarding Donna Svanda’s retirement party scheduled for Friday.
