The Brown County Fair Spotlight Auction generated more than $8,000.
More than 290 items donated by area businesses were auctioned off Monday and Tuesday evening’s over KNZA radio, FM 103.9, with bids taken via phone.
The items brought 84 percent of retail value.
The proceeds from the auction will be used for the operation of this year Brown County Fair to be held in July.
