According to Vernon, the item in question was competitively priced, and there were no tell-tale signs that the website would prove to be a rip-off(Play Audio :22 seconds)
Unlike many internet scams, authorities have been able to develop leads into possible suspects-and the possible return of lost money(Play Audio :22 seconds)
Vernon says while there's never a 100% guarantee, there are ways consumers, shopping on-line, can protect themselves(Play Audio :22 seconds)
Also, when using on-line sites for shopping, choose those that are well known, and reputable, and take time to read reviews from other customers, to help evaluate the reputation of the seller.
